StatBroadcast and StatVA partner to provide live stats for Nike EYBL and adidas Uprising

SANFORD, FLA. -- StatBroadcast Systems and StatVA finalized a partnership today to provide live stats simulcasts of select AAU basketball events including the Nike Girls EYBL Nationals and adidas Uprising Boys Super 64 tournament this July. These will be the first AAU events to utilize the StatBroadcast Live platform.

The Nike Elite Youth Basketball League is a series of events sponsored by Nike that offers high school aged basketball players to receive superior skill instruction, honest evaluation and opportunities to play against the top players in their age group in the nation and the world. High school players that participate in the Nike EYBL programs are evaluated and recruited for the next level of the game, including opportunities at the NCAA and NBA level; during the 2013-14 NBA season, 93 players on active rosters were alumni of Nike EYBL, including all-stars Kobe Bryant, Blake Griffin, LaMarcus Aldridge and Anthony Davis.

The adidas Uprising grassroots basketball schedule includes a four-tournament series, an elite skills camp and adidas Nations, all designed to showcase the best young basketball players in the country and the world. adidas Uprising includes three qualifying events and culminates with a 32-team championship tournament in Las Vegas from July 23-27. adidas Uprising participants are many times identified to go on and play at the most elite level of the game and former participating include NBA all-stars Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose, Eric Gordon, Joakim Noah, Jrue Holiday and Serge Ibaka.

StatVA is a scorekeeping and statistics service that was founded in 2002. In addition to providing professional statistics services to high school teams in the Hampton Roads and Richmond, Virginia areas, it also provides its services to the Virginia State High School championships, the Nike EYBL , adidas Uprising and Gauntlet, the Basketball Hall of Fame and NBPA Top 100 Camp.
