BCS Stats Reaches Agreement with NCAA to Become Stat System Provider of the 2010 Men's College World Series

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. -- BCS Stats Systems has reached an agreement with the NCAA to provide its StatMonitr web stats delivery technology, LiveNotes system and All-Tournament Team online voting at the 2010 Men's College World Series at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Neb ., company president Nate Policar announced today.

"We are very excited to be able to continue our partnership with the NCAA and have our software used in another national championship competition," said Policar. "Following on the heels of our successful partnership at the 2010 Men's Final Four, I have no doubt that the College World Series will be just as successful."

The College World Series, which begins on June 19, represents the final three rounds of the NCAA Division-I Men's Baseball tournament and involves the final eight remaining teams in a double-elimination format, culminating with the two finalists competing in a best-of-three series beginning on June 29. The College World Series will be broadcasted live to a national television audience by ESPN.

Including the College World Series, BCS Stats will now have been used at all three major Division-I men's championships in 2010, including the BCS National Title Game this past January in Pasadena, Calif. and the Men's Basketball Championship game in Indianapolis, Ind. in March. It also represents the fourth national championship event that BCS Stats has provided services for, including the 2007 BCS National Title Game in Glendale, Ariz.

In providing stats services at the regional round in Tempe, Ariz. this upcoming weekend and a possible SuperRegional round on the following weekend, BCS Stats will have provided stats services for every round of the 2010 Division-I Men's Baseball Tournament.
